Maggie Reilly`s in New York City

Service is late and it sucks. The server didn’t listen to me at all when I was telling her my order. Then she forgot to bring my order all together. When I asked her about it, she told me ‘oh it’s ready, on its way’, then put a plate of a veggie burger in front of me instead of a classic burger. Really?! Don’t bother yourselves with coming here folks!

I enjoyed everything. Nice 0lace for lunch and drinks. I will try dinner another time. I was pleased. :)

Amazing place to eat and drink.The two times I have been there with my girlfriend we had an great time and decided that we want to come back. It’s our favorite place now. We are one of those people that when we find a place like this one we keep going back. Specially when the food is consistent. Everything is great here. From the staff, service , food and great drinks. We are definitely coming back again. Big thanks to all the amazing staff.

Bar was not busy but you would think so how the bartender was moving. I got no buy backs even after 4 drinks and 3 shots. Food i ordered was mediocre.

I have no complaints about our waiter. He was polite, attentive to our needs, and prompt. We ordered the burger with cheese and bacon. Bacon was too crispy, burger was dry, bun was dry. I didnt finish it. Fries were pretty good though. Also ordered the tequila chicken quesadilla - way too much cheese, the chicken taste like it is from a bag in the freezer, not fresh. Also witnessed the cook eating food while back in the kitchen area. Pretty much the whole time he was leaning up against a counter that he prepares food on, eating or watching tv or staring off into space. I have concern about the sanitation and food prep in this place.

Maggie is very nice and personable , And EVA the barmaid is a doll beside that the food is very good.

Nice noisy bar. Beer was good but pinacolada coctail was not so good. So stay on beer...

Great little hidden away bar. Drinks are always on point and the Bartender Kiera (from Iowa) is awesome. I have only been 3 times and she always remembers my drink order and has a great attitude. I will certainly come for food the next time I stop by.

Went there last night for game 6 of ALCS ⚾ NYY vs Hou, good vibe. Plenty of TV's to watch d game. Bartender (Irish guy) was on point. Table server (female of Latin decent I believe) was on point. Their guacamole was really good.

Super fun place to see live music and a great group of regulars.

Friendly staff, good drinks. Their happy hour goes on for 4 hours! As someone who doesn't really like alcohol I had the Maggie's mojito, which was nice and easy to drink.

Maggie's is awesome, the food is very tasty, and very affordable, and the same with the drinks. The atmosphere is always pleasant, big screen TVs to catch up on your favorite team or teams while you enjoy your favorite cocktails or food for that matter, the customer service is excellent. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and co workers.

Decent food but friendly service. Cozy feel inside!Update: when I wrote this review I was definitely way too generous. There wasn’t anything really special offered here, if I’m being honest. I don’t think anything was bad, but nothing was really that great. I would consider it on par with any other average pub in the area. If you are in the area and looking for a meal, this place isn’t a bad choice, but I personally wouldn’t seek it out.

St. Patrick’s Day Disappointment: went out of my way a bit because of Brunch specials based on reviews and almost everything went wrong. I know wait staff have a tough job sometimes but our server knew nothing about the menu. Had to come back to ask how we wanted eggs done. Both orders wrong on that count. My wife’s dish was supposed to have beans as main filler with egg. No bean content at all. We should have returned food but did not. salad was so wilted could not eat. When asked how breakfast was no attempt made to make up for problems. I helped neighbouring table with beer order as waitress could not seemingly adapt to tourists with limited English. Beer was good. You think this of all days they would be on their game.

The hamburger was out of the world BUT the service was very very bad. Everything my table got was incorrect but we just ate it anyway because it was still good and it wasn’t a huge deal. However they also charged our cards incorrectly and even when I tried to dispute it with my bank they did not correct the bill for me. I’m sad!!! I would go back for the hamburgers if I wasn’t so annoyed by this!!!

My favorite bar in NYC. Maggie, the owner, is so sweet and welcoming and all her bartenders are funny and kind. A great spot for any mood.

Great food. Like seriously great BAR food. And that's not a negative connotation. Aside from standard good drinks too they have gems. Happy hour is great and they make solid mixed drinks like Moscow mules as well as a wonderful collection of top tier Irish whiskey (Middleton!)

In an area a bit strapped for bars, this will technically do it...but I mean that in the nicest way possible. Guinness line is well maintained enough. Standard drinks made accurately. Very friendly staff. Bar food is bar food and probably largely pre-prepared but they take their duty to properly cook the food and present it to be fit for human consumption much more seriously than many analogous bars. Karaoke isn't as avoidable as you'd think.

Welcoming staff and tasty meals and snacks make this place a favorite!

Last week was the first time we visited this place. But It is no doubt not the last time. We had a good time with the generous service, with the fine food and wine and with the decent pay. We will absolutely visit there soon.

Decent beer selection. OK food. Cozy fun atmosphere

Decent dive bar. Server was responsive. Drinks went down easily. Do yourself a favor and put a little more salt on the fries.
